DevOps Consultant (Linux, AWS, Automation and Containers) – South London

Business transformation and data solutions consultancy with a global presence are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer to work on a large, challenging government project. You will be working as part of a, technically specialised team which includes a range of skills to assist within a high-profile digital transformation programme. You will need a solid DevOps background including expertise in Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS), cloud platforms ideally with AWS as the main focus as will as automation (Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible, Python) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and any associated technologies. The role will be working as part of a team that includes end client, suppliers, and colleagues with the need for solid communication skills and teamwork. The role is within a government environment and you will need to gain a basic (SC) level of security clearance. The project is South London based and although currently is being managed remotely there will be need for the ability to travel to client site in the future if the project requires so it is essential to be within a commutable distance.
