Our client, a company based in Milton Keynes who are a forward thinking and growing organisation has a role for a Customer Service Adviser based in the spacious open plan office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and growing company.

The Job

This role provides day to day customer management and support to new and existing customers, supporting the Business Development Managers. The main aim of these positions is to be a fixed point of contact for customers and resolve any queries or problems as they arise and process new applications and orders ensuring the best customer service. 

Key Responsibilities

Providing efficient and effective customer service, telephone, and email queries

Minimising all lost revenues and costs against company target

To uphold and implement the Terms and Conditions.

Identify trends on complaint feedback.

To maintain correct customer information on in house systems

Communicate effectively with internal departments to resolve customer complaints.

Assist customers on Live Help.

Provide sales advice and support on replacement orders.

Work in partnership with our delivery partners to help resolve shipping errors.

Resolve technical product fault enquiries with the Quality Manager and purchasing team.

Cover the sales line taking orders when required.

The Ideal Candidate

You will be responsible for identifying new commercial sales opportunities within existing accounts and upselling or cross selling of the products. You will have your own portfolio of clients and will be the main point of contact for all queries and new accounts as they sign up. You will need experience in a similar position and have a good telephone manner be self-motivated with a driven approach to work. Experience of Salesforce would be an advantage.

1 year experience in customer complaint handling

GCSE in Maths and English

Customer service experience with a technical product environment

Understanding of distribution industry

Experience in working in a time pressured environment.

The Package

£22,000 – £25,000 per annum dependant on skills and experience + bonus

28 days including bank holiday

Pension 6%.

Salary: £22000 – £25000/annum
