TimePlan Education are currently recruiting a construction teacher to work in a large established SEMH School based in the borough of Bromley.
The school are looking for a vibrant and energetic teacher who can deliver construction to years 7 – 11 (KS3-KS4) to groups of small classes (6-10 students) who have social and emotional needs as well as challenging behaviour and cannot access mainstream curriculum. The students are studying these courses to obtain their Level 1 & 2 in construction.
QTS is not essential, however, a relevant teaching qualification and at least 1-year experience teaching construction is essential. Experience working with challenging behaviour is desirable. Energetic, proactive, motivated and compassionate characters will work well in this environment.
The school has fantastic facilities on site, including a full construction workshop and mechanic workshop side by side with all resources accessible. You will have full support from your peers and always have experienced support assistants in the classroom. The school is a mixed gender school that has approximately 90 pupils currently enrolled.
This position is full-time, to start ASAP or after Easter half-term.
