The commercial real estate team play a key role in the overall success of the Business Finance division within Aldermore Bank, generating new commercial mortgages through a network of brokers and directly with borrowers. The team is located throughout the UK, providing a range of debt options to borrowers seeking finance for commercial property on an investment or owner-occupier basis.
The Product and Performance team is a critical function to provide management of the Broker and Legal Panels to protect our Customers and the Bank in today’s world. We pride ourselves in providing support to all Originations and In-Life teams while effectively representing CRE across many areas of the bank.

When the time is right, we would love to welcome you to our Manchester office. In the meantime, you will be based remotely. You’ll be made to feel part of your new team by your Line Manager and colleagues through regular contact and virtual interaction.
What would your day look like?
Provide dedicated support to the Product and Performance Manager in managing the Broker and Legal Panels.
Provide ad-hoc reports and other administration duties for the Product and Performance Manager. This will include weekly activity reports – procuration fees, telephony data etc.
Involvement in the improvement and testing of the lending platform used by CRE.
Gathering data from data owners to deliver high quality dashboard reports.
Upkeep of the CRE RCSAs, ensuring actions and controls are delivered and maintained effectively.
Upkeep of the CRE Risk Events, ensuring management through to successful closure.
Working with Product and Performance Manager to produce effective agendas/presentations for chaired meetings (Panel Management Review; Change Board).
Maintenance of the CRE product dashboard and working with outside teams to deliver necessary changes.
Involvement in the improvement and testing of the Commercial Mortgage Calculator.
What do we expect of you?
Knowledge / experience within the Commercial Real Estate sector.
Display excellent time management skills and be able to organise and manage a busy workflow.
Excellent excel and PowerPoint knowledge
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a dynamic team.
High level of communication skills.
Ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues, brokers and other professional partners.
