Blackstone Recruitment are working with a Private company who are recruiting for Clinical or Counselling Psychologists who are available to join their team.
This is a Permanent role, to start ASAP. The role will be to work remotely, however access to one of the below major cities when face to face sessions resume is essential:
To provide specialised clinical/ counselling psychology input to employees of City of London corporates, referred to our client via workplace resources such as Occupational Health, on-site GPs, private medical insurers or Income Protection insurers.
(a) To provide psychological assessments of service users based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of data from a variety of sources including clinical interview, , self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect observations and semi-structured interviews with service users, and on occasion if appropriate family members and others involved in the service users’ care.
(b) To formulate, implement and recommend intervention plans to colleagues, those in other agencies and for the formal psychological treatment and/or management of a service users’ mental health problems, based upon an appropriate conceptual framework of the service users’ problems, and employing methods based upon evidence of efficacy across the care settings.
(c) To be responsible for implementing a range of psychological interventions for individuals and groups, adjusting and refining psychological formulations drawing upon different explanatory models and maintaining several provisional hypotheses.
(d) To evaluate and make decisions and treatment options considering theoretical and therapeutic models, and highly complex factors concerning historical and developmental processes that have shaped the individual, family or group.
(e) To provide highly specialist psychological advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals contributing directly to service users’ formulation, diagnosis, risk and treatment plan.
(f) To contribute directly and indirectly to a psychologically based framework of understanding and care to the benefit of all users of the service, across all settings and agencies serving the service user group.
(g) To communicate in a skilled and sensitive manner, information concerning the assessment, formulation and treatment plans of service users where necessary.
* HCPC-registered Counselling or Clinical Psychologists.
* Clinical/Counselling Psychologists (DClinPsy or equivalent)
* A strong grasp of evidence-based psychological therapy (including CBT and third-wave contextual CBTs/Mindfulness-based approaches, i.e. ACT) and ethical practice and will have gained significant experience in the assessment and treatment of a variety of psychological conditions amongst a variety of client groups.
Sick Pay – We pay occupational sick pay equal to your normal salary due to sickness or injury for up to a total of 2 working weeks of absence in any period of 12 months.
Annual Leave – 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays which is pro rata for Part time. If they do part time hours we base it in 33 days.
Pension – We pay 3% and they pay %%
