Clinical Governance and Quality Manager

Location: Possible Bedford but may be flexible

Hours: 37.5

Fixed term contract

The role is to support the Chief Operating Officer in the delivery of the quality governance and compliance for external providers

Duties Include:

Responsible for the line management and development of the Compliance and Standards team
ensuring the Trust is up to date with knowledge regarding current requirements and has processes in place to support
Manage the review and audit of evidence of compliance with internal and external healthcare standards
To be responsible for the implementation and formulation of policies
To attend external and internal meetings and committees as required
To plan and develop programmes that impact across the Trust to enable high quality standards and improvements across all commissioned services;
Manage the Trust’s compliance process

Experience and Qualifications Needed:

Educated to Masters level or equivalent experience
Minimum proven 5 years’ experience as a manager in related area/organisation
Experience of implementing effective performance management systems
Expert knowledge of CQC
Ability to act consistently with legislation, policies and procedures and develop relevant Trust policies
