My client who have been operating since 2015 is a growing provider of manned security services. Their core services include, Key Holding, Alarm Response, Lock and Unlocks, Mobile Patrols, Vacant Property Inspections, Manned Guarding, Site Security, Retail security, Concierge Security, Door Supervision and Event Security for a diverse client base that includes; Councils, Care Homes, Schools, Academies, Universities, Gatehouses, Checkpoints, Zoos, Commercial and Residential companies. They are about to obtain approved contract status and are now looking to recruit an industry experienced manned security sales professional (Business Development Manager) to assist in moving the company onto the next level. They are looking to target the retail industry, construction, offices, logistics, Covid-19 Marshalling, Government facilities, hospitality and leisure. Also, other security companies and facilities management companies initially in the Midlands.
Candidates for this role should have a good all round knowledge of the security industry (including operations as the client feels that sales and ops should be closely related), have successfully sold in the sector, have a knowledge of all elements of the sales cycle from lead finding through to closing the sales (they have email templates, client packs and previous tender documents are would welcome input to improve them), Candidates should have an engaging personality, strong communication and presentation skills and a smart appearance. A UK driving licence is also a must. Location wise candidates should reside ideally in the West Midlands.
They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to come in and get on with the job in hand rather than them tell the successful applicant how to do it. As this is a new position they are happy to devise a commission structure and a sales targets in consultation with the successful candidate.

Basic salary £28k-£30k, commission, mileage allowance, laptop, mobile phone, Nest pension and 20 days holiday
