Home Based. Basic salary between £35K – £40K depending on experience.

As a business we provide commercial cleaning, security and soft services across a wide range of sectors UK wide.

The business has significantly developed and expanded these services over the last few years by means of acquisition and organic growth and provides nationwide services. As a result we are growing our home based bids and tenders team.


To service/manage the full end to end internal bid process including collation/completion of all tenders that are sent out

To maintain an effective library of information and liaise with other departments to keep this updated

To write and develop content for tender responses, proposal documents and client presentations

To work within the public sector and commercial arena in collaboration with the Head of Bids, National Sales Manager and operations teams to create supporting sales documentation such as case studies, commitments charters, sales templates etc.

To prepare presentations in a number of formats, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure the ‘freshness’ of design templates etc.

Setting out critical timelines to ensure submission compliance and internal sign-off protocols

Review and edit all content received to ensure meets standards and is bespoke to client requirements

To liaise with and network with all key personnel to ensure a seamless and forward-thinking approach to bid/document production

Maintain the company CRM to ensure accuracy of data and reports


Two years’ experience of bid writing within the FM, Soft Services Industry

To deliver high standards of work to complete tender/PQQ response

To adhere to and manage the sales process in the production of all bid submissions

To help in the achievement of the sales target through quality submissions which improve our conversion ratio from submission to success – 1:3 ratio

To develop a suite of bid library information which is constantly updated to ensure sufficient and adequate data capture; avoid requesting from others, the same information again and again

Write creative and compelling content for tender submissions

Sets and achieves tender/PQQ deadlines by building internal relationships and influencing others effectively

Manage the bid process end to end to ensure sufficient time is given to ensure sign off prior to submission

Deliver on time bespoke documents, reviewing and editing all content received from the business

To undertake lessons learned reviews of client feedback to improve future bid content

Management of the Tender Tracker to achieve deadlines and motivating others to send content for tenders

Ability to work under pressure and flexibly to achieve deadlines

Ensure all stakeholders receive regular feedback and advance notice of upcoming activity

Build solid relationships across the business to deliver submission deadlines

Contributes to documents by questioning others against the client objectives

Bringing new ideas and innovations to the attention of the Head of Bids to increase and maintain market position/closing ratios

To familiarise yourself and ensure compliance to company policies and procedures

To ensure that the corrector financial procedures are followed

Ensure the requirements of the Business Conduct Policy are fulfilled at all times

Promote a professional image of the company at all times

Salary: £35000 – £40000/annum 35-40 basic plus benefits
