Area Facilities Manager COVID-19 Test Centres – £24.50 – £26.50 plus Holiday Pay.

RHL are proud to represent our clients in their endeavour to support the national accumulative effort against COVID-19. We are currently looking to recruit Area Facilities Managers with a strong soft services back-round for the roll out of Mass Test / Vaccine centres across the Norfolk region.

The role:

As the AFM you will have management and overall responsibility for your cluster in line with all quality, health and safety, environmental and company procedures.

Part of your duties will include:

Working with your Team Leaders on the day-to-day operations including on-site workforce management, managing site health & safety, and receiving and managing stock.
Providing support to other Site and Test Operative roles
Point of escalation for any issues on site and escalates to local public health officials as appropriate.
Ensure all resources are on site for their shifts and escalate as required for additional resource.
Ensure quality assurance, incidents, risks mitigation across the testing service.
Implement appropriate quality assurance as defined by the programme.Requirements:

A proven ability to lead teams that are multi-faceted
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Liaise with local authorities as appropriate
Previous facilities management experience, this includes line management responsibility and contractor management
Lead a direct team including full line management of all colleagues within your cluster, encouraging a customer focused culture
Experience working in a customer facing role
Experience managing compliance within regulatory guidelines
Regular monitoring of the key performance indicators and taking remedial action as applicable to ensure the required standards are maintained, and continuously improved for the full range of buildings and services
Act as a single point of contact for your allocated buildings, managing relationships with customers, suppliers, and your team to deliver the target working environment
Compile and maintain all required management information/records. This includes asset register, emergency plans and all related records and management reports
Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills
High degree and knowledge reference of Health and Safety legislation, environmental protection requirements and ideally IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
The ability to understand complex problems and make recommendations whilst remaining calm under pressure.Site Hours are 8am – 6pm on a four-on-four off shift rota to enable the site to operate 7 days a week.

This is an ongoing 3-month contract offering an immediate start and paying £24.50p/h – £26.50 per hour, Plus Holiday Pay.
