My client are a retail company looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.
My client are a retail company with headquarters in London and are looking for someone to join their stock team as an Accounts Payable Assistant. The role will be 2/3 months initially with the possibility for extension. You will be reporting to an AP supervisor.
The client are looking for someone to be able to start as soon as possible so only candidates that are immediately available should apply. You must have at least 2 years of accounts payable experience and be comfortable processing a high volume of invoices.
Key responsibilities:
Process a high volume of transactions (up to 1,200 per month)
Match invoices to purchase orders/stock systems
Manage a portfolio of suppliers
Run multi-currency payment runs
Manage the AP inbox and any supplier/business queries
Investigate unallocated cash
Supplier statement reconciliationsKey requirements:
Immediately available
Previous experience in a retail company (stock)
High volume experience
Experience with Sage or Dynamics systems
Intermediate Excel user (V Lookups and Pivot Tables)

Salary: £14 – £15/hour
