Brewster Partners have partnered with a well established and successful manufacturing company based in Halifax. They are looking for a Accounts Assistant to join the finance team.
Working as part of a friendly finance team and reporting into the Financial Controller, your key duties of this role will include:
Chasing invoices by email or call
Investigating & resolving customer queries
Raising credit notes
Chasing & releasing any orders held in suspense
Preparing the accounts for legal action
Reconciling sales invoices
Allocation of payments
Supporting the finance teamThe person
Relevant experience in a similar role
Excellent communication skills
Able to work on your own initiative
Excellent organisational skills
Be willing and eager to work in a varied role in a fast paced, busy team
