Dewey Group are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join our team.
Duties include, but are not limited to
Hold responsibility for collating timesheets and inputting payroll information to our online system weekly for 110+ candidates per week.
Ensuring all workers are compliant and have the correct documentation to enable them to commence the assignment
Inputting information/invoices onto Sage 50
Allocating costs to different cost centres
Inputting Data to the online payment system
Produce detailed customer reports
Maintain holiday charts and update database
Answering the telephone and making outbound calls dealing with client/candidates queries
Ordering office consumables and PPE for each location
Arranging medicals and health and safety training
Working closely with the Company Accountant
Assisting with internal auditing processes
Assisting Office manager with ISO policy update
Real attention to detail, ideally experience running a payroll.
Ability to demonstrate a methodical, organised and flexible approach to work
Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
Ability to design and process a wide range of documents in accordance with instruction and house style
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times
Sage or online accounting software experience
5 GCSE’s A-C including English and Maths
Salary: £15000 – £20000/annum
