Job Description:
Are you prone to ranting about imaginary spiders?
If the answer to that is yes, we need to talk to you.
We are looking for a Search Engine Optimisation genius (all applicants must wear a white hat.)
You should love the challenge of taking a site and converting it into Google-topia. You should have a portfolio of sites that are happy spider playgrounds. We want to see organic, organic, organic, and we are not talking about tomatos.
We want to marvel at your work, at your wonderful Meta tags, URLs, Clever text, Alt tags, H1 tags, incoming links from relevant sites with beautiful relavant anchor text; we want to applaud your Page Rank achievements.
Then, when you have taken us to the point of ecstacy, you will floor us with your record of integrating social networks, blogs, twitter (and whatever else is current by the time you read this) with your clients web strategies.
And if you have achieved all of these things, you will of course have a good working knowledge of all the web technologies: HTML, XHTML, Java, CSS, Flash, ASP, PHP, analytics tools, and on and on to infinity.
Experience: Ideally, 2 to 3 years experience (which doesn’t really mean a lot to us, we prefer to see your work in the top search engine results.)
As for salary, if you are the one we are looking for, we will make it our mission to get the absolute maximum salary the market has to offer. (Just leave that bit to us.)
